St. Margaret of Scotland Pioneer Cemetery designated as PEI Heritage Place

On July 21, 2009, the Province of Prince Edward Island recognized the Pioneer Cemetery as a Historic Place, and included it in their Registry of Historic Places.

We received a large plaque commemorating this award, and it is on display at the Parish. 

Thank you to all the organizers, supporters and workers who helped with this restoration success!

October 2010 - For the second year in a row, we are proud to announce that we have received a rural beautification award! 

Thank you to all those who have contributed to the restoration of the Cemetery!
