Isabella McCormack (1863)

THE EXAMINER, MONDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 1863

DEATH: At Black Bush, Lot 45, East Point, on Friday, the 16th January, Isabella MacDonald, (relict of the late James McCormack,) an old and respected inhabitant of that place, in the 79th year of her age. Deceased was a native of Long Island, Scotland, and emigrated to this Island in the year 1802.

VINDICATOR, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 1863

DEATH: At Black Bush, Lot 45, on Friday the 16th ult., after a few days illness, which she bore with pious fortitude, Isabella, relict of the late James McCormack, in the 72nd year of her age. She was a kind mother, and was beloved by all her friends and acquaintances. The deceased was daughter of the late Alexander Bane McDonald, who distinguished himself at the siege of Quebec under General Wolfe, and was a specimen of the true race of Scottish heroes. - R.I.P.

Isabella and Margaret McCormack (1846)

Isabella and Margaret were daughters of Angus McCormack. Both died after suffering from a form of influenza.

DEATH: On the 4th ult., Margaret, and on the 2d inst., Isabella, the former in the 22d year and the latter in the 24th year of her age, both daughters of Mr. Angus M'Cormack, Naufrage, Lot 43.

James McCormack (1844)

DEATH: MACCORMACK - At Black Bush, Lot 45, on Saturday last, Mr. James M'Cormack, aged 58 years.

DEATH: MACCORMACK - At Music Hill, Lot 45, on Saturday the 25th August, of consumption, or a lingering sickness, which he bore with a pious resignation to the Will of his Heavenly Father, Mr. James McCormack, at the round age of sixty years.

 James Archibald McCormack (1891)

James Archibald, of Hay River, was the husband of Nellie (nee McDonald) McCormack.  He died in 1891, age 65

This gravestone can be found in the 1st row, on the left side of the cemetery.  There is no pre-restoration photo of this gravestone, so it is likely that it had sunken into the ground.
